Multilingual Factsheet: A Guide to Employment Standards in Agriculture

This fact sheet provides an overview of the minimum standards that employers in the agriculture sector need to be aware of.  The original document is available in both official languages on the Government of Manitoba website.

In 2022, with funding from the Province of Manitoba, MANSO coordinated the translation of the document to Tagalog and Spanish to better help our members in engaging and supporting migrant workers.

About MANSO

The Manitoba Association of Newcomer Serving Organizations (MANSO) is an umbrella organization for immigrant and refugee service providers in the Province of Manitoba. MANSO provides leadership, support and a unified voice for the settlement and integration sector, including core settlement services, language training, employment services, and welcoming communities programs.

Our office is located on Treaty One Territory, the ancestral land of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak (Cree), Dakota, and on the homeland of the Métis. Our land acknowledgment is not fixed but living. It is fluid and open to change as we continue to learn.
