Become a Signal for Help Responder at Work

Gender-based violence often goes unspoken and unrecognized in workplaces and community spaces. The Canadian Women’s Foundation developed the Signal for Help, a simple hand gesture signaling the need for safe check-ins, to help break the stigma surrounding abuse.

To further support individuals experiencing abuse, they offer the Workplace Signal for Help Responder program. This initiative equips workplaces, community groups, non-profits, unions, and associations with tools to create safer environments.
