On February 27, 2020, the Newcomer Welcome and Inclusion policy was adopted by the City Council of Winnipeg. This marks important progress in recognizing newcomer’s contributions and show the effort of the community to welcome and help build a sense of belonging for newcomers.
MANSO hope that this policy will act as a fundamental step for future development and for future partnerships across all level.
