It has been another year full of partnership and meaningful work being done by our funders, board, members, and friends. The MANSO team would like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to you and all of your wonderful work to help newcomers, refugees, and immigrants in Manitoba. We could not fulfill our shared mission or vision without the support that we got from all of you!

We asked each of our team members to share what was the most remarkable moment or event for them this year. We know it is going to be a tough one to answer since there are so many!!! But here they are 🙂
“One of my 2019 highlights was definitely visiting Halifax for the first time in March for the excellent Metropolis conference, and having about 60 of my closest friends and colleagues from the Manitoba Settlement Sector there to keep me company!” – Vicki
“My memory is getting out to all the communities and seeing beautiful MB and more importantly connecting with passionate and insightful small centre sector professionals, newcomers and community members in their communities!” –Â Don
“My memory is not so much a specific event but rather the ongoing support and professionalism I see shared amongst the language community in Manitoba. It is such a pleasure to work with truly caring and collaborative individuals who have the best interests of their clients at heart and who are willing to extend themselves to help one another on so many occasions.” – Teresa
“I’ve really enjoyed getting into the swing of this new role and seeing new services take shape for groups of newcomers who didn’t have access to them before. Plus getting to know people across the province better through events and visits!” – Nicole
“Wow! I have only been in the sector for 4 months now and I am swamped by the kindness and caring from everyone. We work hard, day by day, to strengthen the sector, and ultimately to provide better service for newcomers to Manitoba. Thank you for all of your support and I look forward to connect more in the year to come” – Justine
“We value each and every one of our member agencies and cannot express our gratitude enough for your ongoing support and collaboration. All the best for the holiday season” – Seid
As the holiday season is upon us, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and those who have helped to shape our sector in Manitoba. It’s been quite a year for us all! We hope that 2019 has been just as memorable for you, your colleagues and your loved ones. We look forward to working with you in the years to come.
