SEED Winnipeg empowers Manitobans, including newcomers, to build skills, manage finances, and start small businesses. Their programs focus on practical training and community support to help participants thrive both personally and professionally.
Open Doors: Connecting Members, Building Community
In October 2025, SEED Winnipeg welcomed MANSO members for the first event in the Open Doors Series, presented by MANSO in partnership with Red River College Polytech – Centre for Newcomer Integration. This initiative allows newcomer-serving organizations to open their doors to peers, providing a behind-the-scenes look at their programs, spaces, and services.

During the event, MANSO members toured the space, learned about SEED’s programs, and engaged in discussions about best practices and collaborative opportunities in newcomer support.
Programs and Services
SEED Winnipeg offers a range of programs tailored to the needs of newcomers and low-income Manitobans, and is not limited to:
