Climate change can be discussed in EAL classes at local, regional, and international levels which makes it an ideal topic for learning and education. Further, environmental migrants or climate refugees will increasingly be seeking a safe haven from the effects of climate change so this topic has a very real connection to our sector.
If you are preparing a needs assessment for your students, why not include climate change and the environment as an option?
