Manitoba’s Accessible Employment Standard Regulation

New requirements for creating workplace emergency response plans for employees with disabilities will come into force on May 1, 2020, for all employers in Manitoba, including newcomer-serving organizations. These requirements relate to creating workplace emergency response plans for employees with disabilities, which fall under the recently passed Accessible Employment Standard Regulation.

The Disabilities Issues Office (DIO) has created a Workplace Emergency Response Toolkit to help organizations prepare.
