March 7 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Half-day professional development workshop delivered by Cate Friesen, The Story Source
In this workshop participants learn to use stories to build strong connections, to

examples of powerful storytelling, and take away tools that will help you shape stories
for different audiences.
Learning outcomes include:
- Identifying the basic building blocks of an impactful story structure.
- Demonstrating concrete ways to make stories memorable and actionable.
- Identifying, developing and practicing telling a story that relates to a specific goal or audience you need to connect with in your work. (for example, help seekers, community members, policy makers, funders, media)
- Tips and techniques for increasing your organization’s ‘story bank’.
